In the process of trying to install some pirated software I received a some spyware. I think it has something to do with God getting back at me for stealing the $999 software.
I began getting the typical random pop-ups. One appeared to scan my computer and display all the porn I had on it. At first I thought it had really done what it shown but I than remembered I don't have porn on my laptop.
Anyways I tried using Ad-Aware, detected nothing. I ran SDFix, it deleted a few files but I still was getting all the pop-ups. I than tried one last program called ComboFix, it took about 30 minutes to run through the process and in the end my fucking computer wouldn't start.
I than tried booting from the windows CD and repair the windows installation. This took about 1 hour and STILL it wont boot all the way up!!
I than figured out other people are having the same problem with combofix causing windows to hang on startup, someone provided a simple step by step solution to fixing the problem using windows recovery console. I did that little solution and now I am getting a new error.
"SETUP IS RESTARTING..........................." is what appears on a blue screen when I try to start up my computer and my computer automatically restarts. Right now I am in the process of tring to fix this shit, it doesn't really matter if I can't figure it out as I can easily reinstall windows. Only thing I hate doing is installing all the necessary software I need on my computers.
